The previous week was the calmest since the Championship start if speaking about Forex only.

On the first contesting week that consisted of three days the fluctuation of the most popular currency pair EURUSD was 472 points, on the second week it was more than 527 points. As compared to that, the third week was the quietest - fluctuation of EURUSD was only 428 points.

Well, as we wrote earlier, the Championship start concurred with the development of a strong trend almost on all securities allowed by the Championship Rules. This fact gave substantial advantages to Expert Advisors that traded by a trend. And the situation that appeared on the previous week had a negative impact on such Expert Advisors, thus changing the top ten.

The previous-week leader eniksoft couldn't preserve its positions and lost over two thirds of its account - his balance diminished from $84,410.23 to $27,217.60.

During the third week his Expert Advisor executed 21 trades which is more than during the first two weeks. But almost all these trades were losing and by the end of the third week eniksoft moved down to the twelfth place of the current Championship rating.

After the third week the leader is the Expert Advisor of amelabs who stepped one place up. However, he did not put any effort into it. After meeting a single, but large loss its trading activity stopped. The whole previous week it was in a lethargic sleep. Perhaps, it is the best solution for this Expert Advisor - now it is the only EA with the Balance of $61,922.24.

The Expert Advisor of a Participant from Italy adamoliberato who was on the third place a week ago now is on the fifth place with $37,173.34 on its account. It should be noted that its Balance changed greatly - within the week it lost more than a half of Balance, but then managed to recover. The total loss of the previous week was $8,243.

Its Balance chart is very changeable. We hope this EA will have such losses as on the third week as few as possible. During the third week this Expert Advisor performed 35 trades and still preserves a high trading activity.

The second best this week is a Participant waddahattar from Syria. We know him since АТС 2007, when he finished on the 37th place. Besides, waddahattar made his contribution to the development of Code Base on the MQL4.Community website. This year his EA trades on GBPUSD. It has executed 12 trades; all they were closed with a profit.

A small number of trades and absence of losses hinders making additional conclusions about this Participant's trading. Though his experience of participation in the Championship and of programming in MQL4 lets us hope that he will remain long on the first page of the contest.

On the third place we see a new personage – thezen from Malaysia. By the end of the third week his EA has $46,928 on its balance and an open loss position of 5 lots (Sell EURUSD). Its loss is equal to $7,366, thus its Equity is $39,562.

Its Balance chart is so even that we can tell nothing certain except for the fact that it executed 12 trades and all they were winning. In this case the absence of loss trades is a very large drawback; and its MAE distribution chart shows how this result is achieved - we see large drawdowns experience by almost all trades closed with profit.

But the general character of drawdowns, except for two largest ones, does not look very reprehensible and we can hope that these drawdowns will remain the largest troubles for this Participant.

The total equity of the Championship Participants is now $389,715.39, which is by 15% less than the previous week value (more than $460 000) and is almost equal to the Equity of 11 weeks of ATC 2007. So, the total tendency is confirmed - the third week mainly brought losses to our Participants. What will bring the next week will be known very soon.
