Jury Session Record of the 17th of October 2008

The Automated Trading Championship 2008 gathers steam. Several hundreds of Expert Advisors execute trading operations. However, not all of them are successful. And not all EAs work without errors. Some errors may affect the operation of other Expert Advisors.

The most frequent case is numerous attempts to open a new position, though balance is not enough for this. This week there were 42 such Expert Advisors: 600026, 600327, 600683, 600663, 600169, 600405, 600207, 600257, 600423, 600476, 600616, 600101, 600038, 600586, 600042, 600096, 600099, 600124, 600145, 600152, 600184, 600247, 600249, 600251, 600270, 600307, 600358, 600397, 600344, 600448, 600453, 600455, 600466, 600497, 600527, 600556, 600576, 600610, 600656, 600670, 600679, 600620. And the EA 600246 tried to open a position having not enough money and to modify a non-existent order.

Several EAs tried to open positions with zero lots: 600443, 600541, 600301. The Expert Advisor 600673 generated errors that the number of lots was wrong and money was not enough. The EA 600092 during 4 days was trying to open a position but did not succeed because of the error 130 - incorrect stops.

The Expert Advisor 600365 had multiple records about the position closing error which generated a huge number of logs. 600507 generated a lot of messages about attempts to close a non-existent order. The EA 600633 occupied a whole processor for its calculations.расчетов.
To discuss all these cases we gathered a Jury session where each Jury member could vote for or against disqualification of these participants:

Voting:

Renat Fatkhullin:
Agreed
Stanislav Starikov: Agreed
Darren Merwitz: Agreed
Andy Andersen: Abstained
Jeffrey Baskin: Agreed
Thomas Bopp: Agreed

The Jury decided to disqualify the above Participants by a majority of votes.
