Jury Session: First DisqualificationsPreparations for the Automated Trading Championship implied several stages. One of them was automatic and manual check of Expert Advisors. Only programs that fully meet certain requirements have been admitted to the Championship. The contest itself runs without human interference and it is absolutely impossible to predict the behavior of Expert Advisors. On the 3rd of October the Expert Advisor of Participant 600323 showed the error “zero divide” and stopped. To have the EA work again one of the following actions should be performed: recompilation of the EA, reinitialization of the EA by calling the EA parameters window or restart of the terminal. All these actions require human interference which is prohibited by the Championship rules. On the 6th of October some more Expert Advisors were stopped: 600100 and 600279 generating the multiple error 134 “Not enough money”, 600622 generating the error "We have no money". The same error appeared at 600685. Their deposit is lost and further trading is impossible. On the same day EAs with the numbers 600465, 600303 and 600408 were stopped because their balance became negative. The EA #600562 was stopped because of the repeated error 4051 “Invalid lots amount”. Its balance is not enough for the minimal volume (0.1 lots) and it is trying to open a position of the size equal to 0 lots. On the 7th of October we had to stop two more Expert Advisors. 600063 attempted to close an order already closed by Stop Loss. It generated 87 gigabytes of logs. The EA 600540 showed the error 129 (wrong price). This error message generated 1.5 gigabytes of logs. We called a meeting of Jury members where everyone could agree or vote against the disqualification of these Participants.
The Jury decided to disqualify the above Participants by a majority of votes. Created: 2008.10.08 Author: MetaQuotes
