I am a novice trader, with an engineering background, who works on automated trading systems as a hobby.  I have always been interested in applied math and computer programming, for the reason that these are very powerful tools, which enable one to be very creative. I have a deep appreciation for the advantages of computerized trading, and also a deep appreciation of its difficulty.   

The EA I have entered in the contest is based on a moving average strategy, optimized for the GBPJPY 5M chart, with optimized money management. I am crossing my fingers. Many thanks to the contest organizers in providing an event which highlights the potential of computerized trading and provides insight on many novel trading strategies.
