Jury Session Record of the 17th of December 2007

At the session, the Jury discussed disqualification of some Participants.

Starting from the 3rd of December, the Expert Advisors of some Participants have been stopped. Like in other cases, the main reason for stopping of these EAs was the mass reporting of Error 134 (Not enough money). The Expert Advisors of the following Participants gave this error: 500227, 500019, 500356, and 500250. Expert Advisor 500124 gave a similar error: "We have no money".

Error "Invalid lots amount for OrderSend function" is typical, too. Expert Advisors 500249, 500514, and 500225 gave a huge amount of such messages and were stopped for this reason.

The EAs of Participants 500213, 500328, 500354, 500359, 500401, and 500414 were stopped, too. These Expert Advisors generated during their operation more than 2/3 of all logs at the Championship. The messages are given at every tick, whereas the messages themselves do not bear any sense.

All the above Expert Advisors violate Clause III.6 of the Rules:

Experts can contain limitations to be used outside the Championship, but they must:

  • never contain any critical bugs (like looping or hanging up, etc.) or explicitly harmful actions in the code
  • be economical with the use of resources on the processor and PC memory
It was decided to call a new session of the Jury. The Jury Members voted about disqualification of the above Participants.

Voting:

Renat Fatkhullin:
Agreed
Stanislav Starikov: Agreed
Alex Mackinnon: Abstained
Andrey Vedikhin: Agreed
Asher Rogovy: Agreed
Thomas Bopp: Agreed

The Jury decided to disqualify the above Participants by a majority of votes.
