The sixth week of the Championship ended. Exactly half of the contest is behind us. This week brought us some surprises.

The first place is held by the Participant from South Africa nicked as driesvt with the result of 34 445 dollars. His Expert Advisor closes rather many losing positions. However, the result is just phenomenal. This profit allowed driesvt to outrun the last week’s leader, MiltonWaddams, who is situated in the second line now.

Unfortunately, MiltonWaddams (Tai Elliott) is not progressing well this week. Although his equity had reached 51 000 within 5 trading days, he finished the week with only 32 002 dollars. He was the first the preceding week with 37 thousand. His Expert Advisor seems to be a bit flaw since it does not fix good profits. If it had closed the positions at 50 000, he would have had huge chances to win. However, it did not happen, so the ‘contest plot’ thickens.

Developing his EA, Pikku, Tai placed his bets on long-term trends and low-volatility securities. His equity results from three positions opened six weeks ago. The developer hopes that his EA does not close positions until the Championship ends. Well, hope springs eternal, and we are glad to congratulate Tai Elliott to his second place. We will go to the third one at that.

The third line is occupied this week by a developer from Russia, Zyx40. He added 6 thousand to his account within this week and came to grips with MiltonWaddams with the result of 31 472 dollars. He has not made any losing trades within this period of time and has grown up by two lines. His account history shows that the EA takes small profits, but does it rather often. This Expert Advisor made only one losing trade resulting in the lost of 8 000 dollars during the Championship. We’ll see what happens to it in future and, so far, congratulate the developer to the third place.

The total profit of the Top 10 has grown a little this week and made 167 thousand dollars. Expert Advisors augment their profits slowly and surely. In the meantime, Top Ten continues to change.
