Jury Session Record of the 6th of November 2007

The issue of disqualification of some Participants was discussed at the Jury session.

On Friday, 2 November, the Expert Advisors of three more Participants of the Automated Trading Championship 2007 were stopped. The EA of Participant 500102 had been messaging about not enough money at every tick starting from the 22nd of October. It seems not to be able to open positions anymore.

Expert Advisor TimeExp of Participant 500220 was stopped for a similar reason. It had been messaging about not enough money at every tick starting from the 17th of October. At that, it did not try to change position sizes, though the balance was sufficient to make trades.

The Expert Advisor of Participant 500214 had been messaging about "invalid lots amount" at every tick starting from the 29th of October. This Expert Advisor is unable to open positions either.

This Expert Advisors violate Subclause 6 Clause III of the Championship Rules:


Experts can contain limitations to be used outside the Championship, but they must:

  • never contain any critical bugs (like looping or hanging up, etc.) or explicitly harmful actions in the code
  • be economical with the use of resources on the processor and PC memory.

It was decided to call a new session of the Jury. The Jury Members voted about disqualification of the above Participants.

Reporting the Championship: Fifth Week (28 October-4 November)

The fifth week of the Automated Trading Championship 2007 is over. This week, like all preceding ones, made some changes in the Top Ten Expert Advisors.
Statistical Report #1

A month has passed since the contest started. Now we have a rich source of materials to be analyzed. The results of multiaspect analysis of all Participants' equities are given in the first part of the report.
