Disqualification Report

  1. Participants ## 400008, 400033, 400063, 400090, 400116, 400191, 400214 бwere disqualified. The reason: continuous appearing of Error 134 - their Expert Advisors do not check free assets on the account before making trades. This violates Clause III.6 of the Championship Rules:

    "Experts can contain limitations to be used outside the Championship, but they must:

    • properly consider symbol settings without rigidly specified parameters (limitations on lots, spreads, minimal deviation from the market price, etc.);
    • never contain any critical bugs (like looping or hanging up, etc.) or explicitly harmful actions in the expert code."

    Experts of the above Participants continuously overload the trade server with requests, but they have not enough equity to open a position.

  2. Participants ## 400096, 400120, 400200, 400153 were disqualified for they had used fixed volumes. They cannot open any positions and fill the logs with records like "not enough money to open a position".

    It is obvious that these Expert Advisors will not be able to open any positions up to the end of the Championship.

  3. Participant #400218 was disqualified since his Expert Advisor contained an error that did not allow opening any positions even for the deposit of 10000 dollars. Judging by the logs, this Expert Advisor has been trying to calculate free margin from the very beginning of the Championship. It is obvious that this Expert Advisor will not be able to open any positions up to the end of the Championship. In this case, Clause III.6 of the Championship Rules is violated, as well.

  4. Participants ## 400169, 400231 400231 were disqualified since their Expert Advisors had filled the logs and could not open any positions. Violation of Clause III.6 of the Championship Rules:

    "Experts can contain limitations to be used outside the Championship, but they must:

    • never contain any critical bugs (like looping or hanging up, etc.) or explicitly harmful actions in the expert code;
    • be economical with the use of resources on the processor and pc memory."
  5. Participant #400186 - too little money on the account. Most likely, this Participant will not be able to open a position up to the end of the Championship.

Interview with Merab Sturua (Merabiko)

The most important thing for the Expert Advisor is the logic, the strategy contents. Applicability under all market conditions and a properly written code. Money management is helpful, of course. But only as an idea about how much of the deposit one can lose and how much profit one can expect to gain. If there is a clear idea of to what limits the profit-loss fluctuations can be expected, it is possible to provide the program within a half of an hour with a plough-back method or with a technique that prevents losses of the profits gained.
