The seventh of twelve weeks of the Automated Trading Championship 2006 has ended. The Top Ten structure has not practically changed, but the Participants are still shifting from place to place.

Luis Damiani (ldamiani), the developer from Brazil, has got to the first place like he did a week before. He managed to fix his success, and GUMASA balance became over 31 thousand. Moreover, equity of the Expert Advisor considering its open positions exceeded 32 thousand. Our congratulation to Luis to his first place!

Expert Advisor Phoenix belonging to Harry Brinkhuis (Hendrick) from the Netherlands is four thousand behind GUMASA. It should be noted that Harry was behind Luis the previous week, too. However, last time the gap was much smaller and made only one hundred dollars. Both Participants were bidding for the first place during the last week. They competed with varied success, but finally, Luis turned to be a bit luckier than Harry. So Harry Brinkhuis has now over 28 thousand of equity and the second place!

The success seems to gradually come back to Participant nicked as Sashken (Alexander Ovchinnikov, Russia). His Expert Advisor managed to reduce the losses of its position. Sashken's equity is now USD 21 208 USD. So he took the third place. Hopefully, Alexander's Expert Advisor will manage to find the way out of this situation and close its position with a profit.

Alexander Egorov (Aver, Russia) took the fourth place this seventh week. The previous week he was a bit unlucky and left the Top Ten. But with its successful trading within the next five days, Expert Advisor named Aver brought its deposit to almost 20 thousand dollars. An excellent result and the fourth place!

The fifth place is taken by a Russian developer, too. This is Via (Ilia Antonov). His Expert Advisor Mover, unlike its competitors, has increased its equity by only some hundreds of dollars. This is the reason why it has moved from the third place to the fifth one. But we are sure, Ilia has the world before him!

The gap between Luis and Harry and their pursuers is still kept large. Their immediate competitors will have to earn about 10 thousand to catch up with the leaders. Otherwise, the competitors will only qualify for the third place.

The Top Ten of the Seventh Week:

The total equity of the Top Ten has notably increased for the first time for several weeks. Compare to the previous week, Top Ten Expert Advisors have earned about 15 thousand. The total equity has made about 97.2 thousand dollars. In other words, averagely, each Expert Advisor of the Top Ten has doubled its initial deposit within these seven weeks. Let us wait for the outcomes of the current week. The equities of the Top Ten will probably increase even more!
