The first three weeks are past. Expert Advisors that work at random disappear gradually from the top lines. But not Sashken! After a week in "out of play", his expert managed to close a position with the profit of 7 000 dollars and took the first place. It will now be very difficult to overhaul Sashken: his deposit is now 29 300 dollars. His proximate competitor, Vdiddi38 (USA), still has only 22 000. Rich (Ukraine) and his 18 000 are on the third place.

Sashken has made only three trades for these three weeks of the Championship. If the first two positions were closed rapidly and propelled Alexander to the top, it was rather difficult to predict his Expert Advisor’s future after the third position had been opened. Last week, Alexander got to the only seventh place because of the losses on this position (-7 000 dollars). However, the pound started to grow and everything changed! The third position was brilliantly closed by TakeProfit at 13:23 on the 20th of October, and the Expert Advisor took the first place!

The second place was taken by Vince Wells (Vdiddi38), a developer from the USA, with his expert named Hercules. This expert is based on the strategy many times tried by the author. However, Hercules is his first trial to realize his strategy as an automated trading system. The developer is preparing an upgrade version of the expert for real trading.

There are some more interesting ideas implemented in his Expert Advisor. For example, instead of opening one position of 5 lots, it opens 2 equal positions with different TakeProfit levels. Besides, it has its own mechanisms of closing the positions. In the author’s opinion, no serious Expert Advisor can really work without such "safeguarding mechanisms". It should be noted, as well, that Hercules has never been in the top three before. 22 000 and the second place – an impressive result!

Rich, a developer from Ukraine, who took the first place last week, has got only third place this time. Having a rather high Profit Factor and based on MACD, his Expert Advisor could not make any positive trades within the last 5 trading days. Only positions opened before have been closed and made the profit of over 3 000 dollars. Hopefully, Rich will be luckier next time!

Hendrick, who took the second place before, is still sitting tightly. He has not got to the Top Three for the second time, but completed the week on the fourth place. And he has not practically left the Top Ten. His expert, Phoenix, is fighting with varied success. We are sure that Hendrick will still pretend to a prize in the future!

Along with the Hercules, Expert Advisor named Aver and developed by Alexander from Russia has become one more triumph of this week. This expert gave no signs of life during two weeks. But those two trades made within the last five days have immediately paid him almost 6 000. This results in his 6th place now! Great, Alexander!

On the 19th of October, the regular meeting of the Championship Jury took place. The Jury decided to disqualify Participant #400239 and not to undertake any measures to correct sequences of the spike happened to GBPUSD on the 19th of October.

Top Ten of the Championship Third Week:

This time, the total profit of the top ten experts made about 13 000. Although it is more than the last week, it is not so impressive as 60 thousand of the first week. We wish all the Participants to close as many profitable positions as possible!
