Registration: Final Report

Registration for participation in the Automated Trading Championship 2006 has been fully completed. 258 developers will participate in it.

"As is clear from the diagram, the first two places are massively taken by developers from Russia and Ukraine. Then, unlike the data published previously, the results are tabulated as follows: US developers took the third place, Indonesian expert writers came down to the fifth place. And a new surprise: Bulgarian developers took the forth place," commented Stanislav Starikov, Jury member of the Automated Trading Championship.

345 applicants did not complete their submissions and will not be able to participate in the competition. 150 more applicants were refused for various reasons, starting with the unimproved errors in their codes and ending with foul play and direct breaking the Championship Rules.

By the present time, all preparations have been completed – equipment installed and tested, the Championship website redesigned. Everything is ready to start the Automated Trading Championship 2006. Organizers and Sponsors wish all Participants good luck. And let the strongest win!

Equipment Test Report

"We knew, of course, that our terminals are rather resource-saving and that the blade server is a very powerful machine. But we did not know exactly how many terminals it could really bear. Now we know it, and we like the findings very much. We reserve the overcapacity advisedly since some expert advisors can require a large amount of computer resources", declared Stanislav Starikov.

Automated Trading Championship 2006 Has Begun

Both Participants and ourselves worked hard during these two months. Since now, nothing will depend on us or on expert developers, everything will be done automatically. We have just to watch the development of the Championship.

It is a pleasure to see the brazilian guys ready to the fight. Be careful russians. A simple code can destroy all of you. lol.

The most important is the fair play and enjoy the game. I wish three months with intense rallies.

Good luck to all participants.

Best regards,

Israel Araujo

I am Chinese but registered from US. Just couldn't believe that most Chinese developers couldn't read English. I thought the young generation have much better English, at least if they work in IT.
