HA, the one thing I was designing for in my EA was to make a program that produced huge amounts of money or lost it all trying. Now twelve hours to go and I have almost exactly the equity I started with 3 months ago! This I did not expect. 3

We the viewers of this contest learned allot about automated trading. This will
definitely give a boost to all involved in the industry.

I along with other partners and developers plan in the future setting a third party
service/software to help
developers sell or Rent their EA's on one hand (without disclosing their code!)
and make it easy for traders to purchase
these EA's on the other hand (The service will also allow traders to rent the EA's,
for as long as they work!). This service/software will have many advantages for
both parties.

Hi Reuven, Allow me to make you a suggestion. There are already some Trading Systems for rent providers (e.g. Collective2, Fx-auto, Attain, Stryker, etc), however their business model does not suit me. I am interested in partnerships (investor + developer), in assuming part of risk, in sharing profits, not in charging fixed fees. So let me suggest that you include in your business model the following option: no fixed fees, your client and the TS developer share profits (on the risk side: investor assume losses and developer earns nothing) and your services would be paid by the broker’s rebate.Hi Louis,
Thanks for your reply. I would just like to clarify on this post that my suggested
service would allow developers to decide what business model fits them most (selling,
renting, sharing profits with traders, etc)
so your suggestions are definitely welcomed. I made note of renting because I think
that would interest many traders but then again some may decide that they are willing
to share their profits with EA developers as long as they can use the trading system.
Also I would like to reveal that this service would work directly with MetaTrader
making it easier for traders to add this service as an "EA" (DLL) along
with any other EA they are using. Good luck in the final day.
