Congratulations to Phoenix. I do completly agree with you principal of the system. Nothing just goes up or down. I see it as well in closed circles.

Thanks for opening your program for the public!!!! I just started to run it on MetaTrader. For this behalf, I do have a question, cause I was not able yet to get trades done.

Phoenix_EA_v1_01_JPY and Phoenix_IND_v1_JPY do get started normaly when starting up MetaTrader (message initialized)

Soon after that I do get error messages, about at each 12 seconds, that it was not possible to open the sell order (error opening SELL order. : 4109)

I would be very greatfull, if you could help me to have it run.

Despite appearances it is based on some logic. At the end of september I thought we were sitting on the verge of a big swing against the dollar. I was also pressed for time when making my comp EA, so I threw this together, a simple EA to follow a trend against the dollar with maximum force:). It was also designed to stop after a 600pip or so move, provided it doesn't take any loses..  Of course the first two weeks weren't kind so now I need a much larger move and any real retrace puts me back at the bottom of the table..arrg.

I can do better than that. I can give you a copy of this super successful EA! Think of the profits you could make! I can even throw in some extra comments in the more technical sections if you would like:).

Это известно сейчас. А рынок сегодня здесь остановился, а завтра там повернул. Еще раз повторюсь - в первом приближении все равно какие будут стопы - они могут быть сбиты. Будут маленькими - будут слетать часто - прибыли не увидишь - будут большими - будут слетать редко - но, если уж слетел, так слетел :) )

Про названные периоды. В в начале октября мне не понятно, как не свалился в минус мой эксперт, потому как ему нехватило "подкачанной истории" для принтия решений. Мне не известно, насколько подгрузилась база данных истории, но явно маловато для этого эксперта. Т.е. в конечном счете была нарушена логика принятия решения и эксперт неправильно работал. Ну я уже писал про это.

Про второй период - чисто по индикаторам - (как по индикаторам и в первый период) (функция IsSellTrade) условия были выполнены - но. В самом эксперте есть одна строчка

Вот по ней суд по всему на селл и не получилось выставить. Счас я в ней вижу логическую ошибка - она должна иметь триггерность, а не каждый раз проверяться. В данном случае, если перевести разговор на назык Эллиота, то всвязи с этой логической ошибкой логика торговли такова - торгуем только 3 и 5 волны - примерно так.

Отвечу - 1 из элементов - АО Вильямса. 2 элемент - мой осцилятор, но там период всего 80 максимальный.

Да, судя из названия, эксперт ловит тренды, а не движения. Мысли как все движения ловить уже как есть, но это уже другая история.

Hmmm ... I might have to take that back based on more recent results. That last trade was not quite so positive. :-((
